Things Your Cat Wants To Know Right Meow

Did you know that January 22nd is Answer Your Cat’s Questions Day? Fluffy will probably sleep through most of her special day, of course. Our feline buddies are very curious, and like to poke their noses into, well, pretty much anything. If cats could ask questions, what do you think your pet would be most curious about? An Aurora, CO vet offers some suggestions below.

Where Did My Toys Go?

Have you ever moved the couch, just to find a small army of cat toys beneath it? Fluffy may very well wonder where all her playthings went!

Why Is My Bowl Empty? I’ve Meowed Three Times Already!

Fluffy can be a bit dramatic when she is hungry. If you’re late with breakfast, your furry pal may complain loudly, or even run out in front of you.

Why Can’t I Play With That?

Fluffy is a hunter by nature, and she’s always trying to work on her skills. (Of course, most of our patients never hunt anything but dust bunnies and the occasional moth, but that’s another topic.) Sooner or later, most if not all of people with kitties end up taking something that isn’t a toy away from their frisky pets.

Why Did You Move Me?

Our feline pals are very, very tired. They also aren’t necessarily very picky about where they sleep. At some point, you’ll have to move your sleepy pet mid-nap. Don’t be surprised if you get a cute little meow of protest!

Why Are You Laughing At Me?

Kitties are absolutely hilarious, which is one reason they make such fun pets. Fluffy may not speak our language, but she does seem to know when we’re laughing at her!

What’s In There?

Fluffy loves to investigate nooks and crannies. If you open a cupboard or closet that is usually closed, she may immediately want to check it out.

Why Do I Have To Go In The Car?

Most of our feline patients are not purrticularly fond of car rides. While your cute pet will definitely look and feel better with proper care, she may very well complain all the way to the clinic and all the way back. (Sorry, Fluffy: it’s for your own good!)
