Who will you turn to in the event that your pet requires emergency veterinary care? No pet parent ever wants to imagine such a scenario, but the fact is accidents happen and sudden, unexpected injuries and illnesses occur. The best thing that you can do for your four-legged family member is to be prepared ahead of time.
At Aspen Commons Animal Hospital, we want you to know that you’re never alone! Our hospital is well equipped to handle even the most critical of cases and our team is prepared to step in and assist with all of your urgent medical, diagnostic or surgical care needs. We have a veterinarian and support personnel on duty 6 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle urgent care situations. Rest assured that we will work swiftly and with great care to get the situation under control and improve the chances of a positive outcome for your pet.
Some common signs of a pet emergency include, but are not limited to:
If your pet experiences any of these things (or something not listed here that you feel warrants immediate attention), please give us a call right away. This will allow our staff to assess the situation, provide guidance for first aid that you may be able to apply in the interim, and prepare the hospital for your pet’s arrival. Of course, should your pet’s emergency not allow for a call ahead, do not hesitate to come directly to the clinic for immediate medical attention.
Critical care is available any time the hospital is open. If your pet requires emergency care outside of our normal hospital hours, please contact our friends at:
